Mr. Simons has been instrumental in cleaning and calibrating slit lamps, phoropters and indirect ophthalmoscopes in over fifty rooms at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute since mid-spring 2014 until the present date. He has also repaired mulitiple electrical connections and salvaged equipment that neededd only a "gentle touch" rather than replacement. His sense of honesty as to what did need to get cleaned versus repaired is astounding. We rely on his micrope training knowing that he will do the correct repiars and service. I cannot recommend Jackie any more highly than what he delivers in superb service, responsibility and timliness in his commitment to caring for all the equipment needs in the various subspecialty halls at VEI.
